The couple married 2005 and formed the Piano duo Miho & Masumi Hio. Since then regularly concert performances in Japan, USA, Austria, England, Swizerland and Italy. Participation at various music festivals as Ticino Musica, St. Paulaner Kultursommer, Trigonale, Wales Millenium Center or Progetto Odradek.
Successful at numerous competitions, including 1st prize at the ‚Bradshaw & Buono International Competition’ with invitation to the Winner’s Recital’ at Carnegie Hall in New York, 2nd prize at Concorso Internazionale ‚Roma 2008’ (no 1st prize was given) and at Concorso Internazionale ‚Premio Cittá di Padova’.
